A Partner in Education is excited to announce a partnership with the JaxMar Gallery in Rottingdean. Having met through mutual interests in art and education in Africa, Jaxmar have generously agreed to sell handmade Rwandan crafts with the proceeds going the Scholarship Fund.
The gallery's owner, Jax Golding says:
"The Jaxmar Gallery based in Rottingdean High street is a gallery specialising in African art. We believe that educating art lovers on the beauty of African Art whether via collectors' canvasses or artisans amazing beadwork or crafted goods is a vital step in unleashing the creativity of Africans.
Through the sale of our work we believe we have an obligation to uplift communities through education, and not only do we do this through our own philanthropic initiatives where we make small contributions in South Africa, but we have decided to sell goods in support of APIE who like us are passionate about education, in their case, in Rwanda.
We hope that through our support of artists and the sale of goods from our gallery we can continue to contribute meaningfully in the areas of education in different parts of Africa."
