APIE and Prospero World Event, May 2016

On 17 May, APIE was pleased to hold an exciting event in partnership with Prospero World's Cornucopia Giving Circle entitled 'Peace, Stability and Prosperity: How International Collaboration Is Creating Educational Excellence in Rwanda'.

The main event was a conversation held between APIE Trustee Sir Kieth Ajegbo, Head of Umubano Primary School Jean de Dieu Dusingize and previous Head of The Wroxham School Martyn Vandewalle, which allowed guests some insight into the way that international partnerships are helping develop educational excellence at Umubano Primary School in Kigali.

The evening was a great mix of Rwandan-style food, jazz and conversation, discussing the work being done by APIE and partners to raise the standards of education for children in Rwanda. With huge thanks to all who attended, supported and contributed!

If you would like more information on the topics discussed, want to know more about the work APIE is doing in Rwanda or wish to find out how to get involved with APIE and our projects, please contact us at laurenne@apartnerineducation.org.
