APIE is an international non-governmental organisation working to improve education in the developing world. With a strong belief that change has to come from within, we actively work with a wide team of innovative and inspiring Rwandans to create lasting, sustainable and relevant changes to improve the education of the country's youth.
APIE partners with a range of organisations in Rwanda including government, local NGOs, international organisations and local businesses. We collaborate with other education professionals in the country to work on curriculum development, teacher training models, early childhood development initiatives and to discuss solutions to some of the greatest challenges to equal, quality education in the developing world.
The education situation in Rwanda is complex, and understanding it requires a deep investment in the country and the culture. With every project, APIE seeks to improve our understanding of the issues within Rwanda and put ideas into action that are relevant and valuable for both local communities and the government. With a dedication to the belief that every child has a right to a quality education, we work with the country to make this ideal a reality.
